How to apply for Tenant Registration

According to the SINDH INFORMATION OF TEMPORARY RESIDENTS ACT 2015, whenever a house or a hostel room is rented, owner/tenant/property dealer have to register details (owner, property, tenant info.) in concerned police station for record purpose. Registration can be done by visiting concerned Police Station or nearby Police Stations or Facilitation Center. After successful registration, front desk officer will provide a certificate to the citizen which will help him/her to avoid any hassle during any search operation.

Required Documents:

• Original and copy of house owner’s CNIC
• Original and copy of tenant’s CNIC
• Original and copy of rent agreement
• Affidavit
• Photograph of the tenant

Processing Fee:

Turn Around Time:

• Around 15 to 20 minutes, on spot registration
